Why does it take so long for Direct Credits to be processed ?

In "knockout" competitions, such as "The Nicko", awards are made when the final has been played, not when your team has been eliminated, so there can be quite a delay between playing your matches and receiving your awards. In EBU congresses such as the Brighton meeting, many players give insufficent details for them to be quickly positively identified. Without a membership number, attempting to locate members, especially with common names such as "Smith" or "Jones" can be extremely time consuming, and such activities slow down the allocation procedures dramatically. Always give your membership number when entering competitions !
