Master Point FAQ - the Answers

Master Point Prizes There are a number of prizes for outstanding Master Point achievements during the year. The prizes are awarded on the basis of the Master Point ranking lists, which we publish during February each year. Prizes are awarded in the following categories:
National Awards
Category 1	Life Masters and above
Category 2	National and Premier National Masters
Category 3	Regional and Premier Regional Masters
County Awards
Category 4	Star, Tournament and Premier Masters
Category 5	County Masters, Masters and Advanced Masters
Category 6	Unranked, Local, Club, Area and District Masters
The "Daily Telegraph" Salver An additional award - the aforementioned salver and free entry to the Spring Bank Holiday Congress - is presented to the player who has won the most points in the competition year.
