The EBU Members' Area was launched on Monday 6th February 2006 as a service to all EBU members. Through it, you can log in with your unique EBU number and password to access a variety of features such as viewing and altering your personal details (name, address, telephone numbers etc.), checking the status of subscriptions and paying for those which are outstanding, and booking into EBU events.
This is currently being tested and will be launched to the full membership very shortly.
No. If you are member of the EBU then you will already be recognised by the system. Just enter your EBU number and password in the Member Login page and you'll be in. If you are not a member of the EBU then you can become a member and pay your first subs through the Join Here link.
The February 2006 edition of English Bridge magazine came with the annual renewals letters and the password was printed on this, just below your EBU Membership No. and your address. If you haven't yet received the magazine then if we have a record of your email address you can go to the login page, type in your EBU number and hit the link where it says 'Click here to have your password emailed to you.'
See question (3) for how to get your password sent to you by email.
This also appeared on the renewals letter that came with the February magazine. Check your dustbin! If you really don't have it then email postmaster@ebu.co.uk and get it for you.
You need to fill in all of the mandatory fields — the ones marked with a red asterix. Check that your home town is not in the wrong box and that you have a telephone number and email address filled in.
Your email address is needed to provide confirmation for payments such as subscriptions and event bookings so I'm afraid we need it.
It's also useful for when you forget your password!
The EBU does not currently
send out unsolicited emails to members, but if you would prefer
not to receive anything in the future then select Yes in the Data
Protection field on your My Details screen.
Please ignore it. It means that we haven't collected your Direct Debit payment yet. In April, when all of our Direct Debits get run, it will change from 'Outstanding' to 'Current'.
