I'm 23 and currently studying for a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Cambridge.
I first began playing bridge 10 years ago at Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School, eventually making it into the A team which won the Schools' Cup for three consecutive years, playing with Jonathan Clark and this partnership has continued throughout our university years winning the Portland Bowl, Varsity match and U26 Pairs on multiple occasions. I have represented England U21s and U26s on numerous occasions making my debut in the 2015 Channel Trophy, mostly with Jonathan as my partner with our best results being 11th in the 2016 European Youth Pairs and a bronze medal in the European Championships the following year and in the Online World Championships. Due to age restrictions I played with Harry Madden in the World Championships in China in 2018.
In the spare time I have that's not taken up by bridge (or studying), I enjoy playing sports such as ultimate frisbee and cricket alongside other logic based or problem-solving games

Since writing this biography Kripa has been a key member of the U21 team which, in 2017, earned a bronze medal at the European Championships, won the Peggy Bayer Trophy, and finished second in the Channel Trophy competition. These performances earned him the Young Player of the Year Award for 2017.
