Chris Watson

Grew up in a family where whist and solo whist were played. Started playing rubber bridge at the age of 16 after having read a book by Eli Culbertson. Playing bridge was mainly in lunch breaks while working as an apprentice and later at technical college whilst studying for an HND qualification.

Then a long break from bridge until early 1990's when started playing rubber bridge again.

Introduced to duplicate bridge by my next door neighbour, George Goddard. Started teaching in 1996. Full EBUTA (now EBTA) member 1998. Club Tournament Director 2003.
