Dido Coley

Dido has been playing bridge with her family since the age of six, made her first doubled slam at the age of eight, and has been hooked on the game ever since. She is about to make her England debut, after starting at St Paul's Girls' School and finding lots of fellow bridge players there. She still plays regularly with her somewhat competitive family, as well as at local clubs in Worcestershire, though her family has stopped playing her at simpler card games such as Pairs because they’re bored of losing.

Dido also enjoys sport and is a fearless fencer, handy sprinter and solid defender in the school netball D team. She plays the French horn and organ, and loves her tabby cat.

Her best result so far was as part of the U16 team which came second to China in the 1st WBF Youth Online Team Championship in 2018.
