Harry Madden

Harry is 15, and lives in Derby. He comes from a bridge playing family - both his parents and younger sister also play.

He was part of the Under 16 team which narrowly missed out a medal at the 2015 European Championships - an excellent performance in what was the team's first international event. He was then part of the Under 16 team that performed well at the World Youth Team Championships in 2016, finishing 8th and winning more than half of their matches in the round robin phase.

At the 2016 European Youth Pairs Championship he finished 5th with Oscar Selby in the Under 16 event - the highest finishing position for any English pair. He also made his debut in the Peggy Bayer Trophy in 2016.

At the Young Bridge Challenge he has won the Harry Scully Trophy (for the leading team from different schools) for the last three years, and he was runner-up in the 2015 U19 Championship Pairs.
