The EBU is determined to put the interests of affiliated clubs at its heart. To this end a new Club Committee (CC) has been formed with members who are involved in running successful clubs of different forms, shapes and sizes. The CC will work for the benefit of all our clubs and club members at national, regional and local level. It will help develop new and better services for our members and will be consulted in all those aspects of the EBU's activities which involve clubs, particularly the implementation of Pay to Play, as well as other issues such as any proposed revisions to regulations regarding announcing and alerting. Any changes which significantly affect club players will come before the CC before being approved. The Committee will work closely with the EBU's Universal Membership Project Board and the other EBU committees.
The Club Committee's members are your representatives, and it will be acting as a channel for members' interests throughout the country. This first interim committee is tasked with the development of a permanent structure for regional representation of our clubs. In the meantime you can find your regional representative in the list here. They will be arranging a series of meetings with club representatives to discuss various issues.
If you wish to contact the CC regarding any other matter please email cc@ebu.co.uk.
