About the Congress

The Championship Pairs starts on the Friday with a two-session qualifier, from which the top 28 pairs qualify for an all-play-all final on Saturday.
Non-qualifiers and others may enter the one-day Swiss Pairs event, with seven 7- board matches, assignments being made one round in arrears.
The Swiss Teams is also a one-day event with seven 7-board matches. There will be short refreshment breaks throughout the day, but otherwise play will be continuous.

Masterpoints
All events are fully Green Pointed, save for the qualifying rounds of the Championship Pairs (Local Points only but all qualifiers are guaranteed a Green Point award).
