The exciting news is that the BGB and EBU events are to award National Master Points (Green or Red points depending whether you are in England , Scotland or Wales ).
The top 10% of the field will benefit, in accordance with the following scale:

1 green to the top 2.5%
0.75 green to the next 2.5%
0.50 to the next 2.5%, and
0.25 to the remaining 2.5%.

The black awards will be reduced by 100, 75, 50, and 25 respectively.

This will take effect from January 2006, which means that the BGB Winter Pairs will be Green Pointed !
