We will help you to develop your year group into a Learn and Play club. We will give you club stationery, master points and packs of cards - free - to get you started.

The EBU is committed to ensuring that fledgling players have provision to practise their newfound skills.
It is in everybody’s interest, particularly the student, to bridge the gap between classroom and clubroom by creating a community that learns together at a gentle pace and subsequently evolves into a relaxed playing environment. By doing this we help fulfil the students main aims of why they took up learning to play the game in the first place – that is, meeting new people, making new friends and enjoying a new pastime.

Research shows us that many bridge students fail to take the step into organised bridge.

Many teachers provide playing facilities for their students but it’s expensive to get started and they often lack the numbers required to sustain regular weekly duplicate sessions.

We all know that it is virtually impossible for students, after just a few terms of learning to integrate into an established club environment which many of them, understandably, find intimidating and hostile.
