The EBU is committed to ensuring that fledgling players have provision to practise their newfound skills. Research shows us that many bridge students fail to take the step into organised bridge. Many teachers provide playing facilities for their students but it’s expensive to get started and they often lack the numbers required to sustain regular weekly duplicate sessions. We all know that it is virtually impossible for students, after just a few terms of learning to integrate into an established club environment which many of them, understandably, find intimidating and hostile. |
