When a school starts up bridge lessons or any bridge activity, it should register with the English Bridge Union by completing a the enrolment form. This will entitle the school to receive regular issues of English Bridge and Young Bridge magazines and to request a free Starter Kit comprising:

• 8 packs of cards (new or in good condition)50 personal score cards
• 100 travellers
• 2 results charts1 copy of Really Easy Bidding (first edition)
• 1 copy of Really Easy Play in No Trumps (first edition)2 back copies of English Bridge (two different issues)
• 5 copies of the most recent issue of Young Bridge
• 5 EBU Junior Joining Forms1 copy of article headed Your Opportunity from the DoE Award Journal
• 1 copy of DoE Award Scheme – Skills – Bridge specification (07/2000 version)1 copy of MiniBridge (red and green)
• leaflet describing the MiniBridge Pack
• 1 copy of All about MiniBridge leaflet
• 1 copy of Introduction to Duplicate leaflet
• 1 schools order form for the Teachers' Resource Manual
• 1 poster describing the Schools Simultaneous Pairs
• 1 Young Bridge Challenge Day flier (at appropriate times of year)
• 3 Junior Teach-In fliers (at appropriate times of year)
• 1 Voucher Claim form for schools helpers
• 1 letter of welcome
