A Resource Pack for Teachers of Duplicate Bridge

The Teachers' Resource Manual consists of two A4 folders containing advice and teaching material for teachers of bridge in schools. It is divided into four sections as follows:

Section 1 Teacher's Guide

Teaching guidelines, methods and strategy; a description of MiniBridge; the 'mechanics' of bridge and the proprieties; and an outline of how to run a duplicate bridge event.

Section 2 Declarer play

Ten lessons covering all the basic techniques of declarer play, each lesson comprising teacher's notes, student's notes and an exercise or hands to play.

Sections 3 & 4 Defender's play and Bidding

As above, nine lessons and twenty-one lessons on aspects of defence and bidding respectively.Please Note: You are permitted to copy any of the resource pack material, either for your own personal use or that of your students. The copyright remains with the 1991 Educational Trust for British Bridge.
