After the historic decision by the Shareholders of the EBU on June 4th to embrace universal membership through Pay to Play, the Board met on June 11th to discuss its implementation.

The Board agreed the terms of reference for its Project Board and for the new Club Committee. It also set up a Business Planning Group to review all EBU operations and processes in the light of the new and challenging direction that the EBU has taken.

The Project Board will be responsible for the overall implementation of Pay to Play and will be chaired by the Vice-Chairman, Sally Bugden. Its first meeting will be in August 2008.

The Club Committee will be a permanent sub-committee of the Board and will be of vital importance in delivering a wide range of services to all our clubs.  It will be chaired by Graham Jepson and will have its first meeting in September 2008.  Full details of its structure and membership will be published in the next issue of Club Focus and on this web-site.
