I started playing bridge in 2000 when I was 17 after attending a junior day at the West of England bridge club.
Since then I have moved to Warwickshire where I went to Warwick University to study for a Masters in Mathematics. During this time I was the president of the Warwick University bridge club for three years, won the Portland bowl, placed as the top university team in the European Universities championships and won the Junior Camrose.
After finishing my degree in 2005 I went on to have a number of different jobs which have included: maths tutor/supervisor at university, a chef and more recently and Actuarial Analyst. At this time I started playing with Susan Stockdale and with her I have won the Junior Camrose and competed in the Junior European championships in 2007. We also comprise one pair of a successful local Coventry league team.
This year I have renewed an old and enjoyable partnership with Steve Raine who was my partner for the first international event I competed in when we won the Friendship trophy back in 2001.
