Ian Angus - biography

ianIan is a first year DPhil student at Oxford University studying Mathematical Finance, following 4 years there as an undergraduate.

He learnt to play bridge at the age of 12, though stopped playing for several years for a lack of people to play with.

It wasn't until he attended University that he started to play competitively where he paired up with James Rogers and they have now been playing together for

4 years.

Together, last year, they were a part of the Oxford University team which won the Portland Bowl and subsequently played at  the European University Championships in Brugge last August.

When he's not in his office reading Maths papers or at a (sometimes virtual) table playing bridge, then you might occasionally find him reading books or out on a golf course.
