Did you know...

I attended Glasgow Academy 1947-1953, Bancroft's School 1953-1956 and Kings College, London 1956-1959 LLB (2nd).

I was articled to JHH Kidgell in the City of London and on qualifying as a solicitor in 1962, joined Coward Chance (now Clifford Chance, the world largest law firm).

In 1963 I joined Vanderpump & Sykes, a local firm of solicitors in Enfield, Middlesex rising to partner in 1968 before happily retiring in 1990.

I am passionate about wine and enjoy an eclectic cellar stocked mainly with red and white burgundy including a 1989 double magum of Domaine Romanee Conti La Tâche.
