David was born in 1956 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe; educated Dulwich College and Caius, Cambridge; IT consultant.

He has played for England in 7 Camrose matches, 1 European and 1 Olympiad; coached Britain to Bermuda Bowl silver medal (1987) and European championship (1991).

Divorced, no children, no pets; living in London.
