Graeme Robertson, 19, has just completed his first year at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University where he studies maths. Graeme developed an interest for bridge when he was first taught the basics by his Grandparents at a young age. He later attended Bedford School, where his teacher Mike Vogel helped to improve his skills, and he won the school's cup and u19 pairs during his stay there. Since then Bedfordshire's youth bridge co-ordinator Alan Shillitoe, amongst others, has proved pivotal in developing his game.
Graeme made his England debut in December at the Channel Trophy just as James Paul did, and was instrumental in the victory playing every board. He has since represented England in the Peggy Bayer, and played in the European Youth Pairs Championship.
