James Thrower is 19 and a first year student at Aston University where he studies economics and management. James has been playing on the Under 20 squad for many years, and he has earned several caps to his name.

He has represented England in two Channel trophies and last Summer was a part of the team that went to the European Championships and finished 4th, earning themselves a place in the U21's World Championships that will take place next October in China.
James has won many of the EBU's junior competitions such as the U19 pairs, School's trophy and Arnott Davidson Under 19s teams of 8.

James was taught to play by Cedric Cockcroft, who taught many of the squad on Saturday mornings in Harrogate.
