I had my first lessons at the age of 8 and started playing duplicate at the Young Chelsea 3 years later.

I have been part of the Youth Squad since I was 15 and first represented England in the 2002 Channel Trophy, playing with John Atthey. I also played with John in two Peggy Bayer Championships, as well as the Junior Europeans in Prague in 2004.

Two years ago I played with Sarah Whitehead in the Girls tournament at the Junior Europeans in Riccione. This year in Jesolo I partnered Alice Kaye. It is good to see more and more teams enter the Girls Championship every 2 years, and hopefully there will be even more teams in 2009.

Alice and I are looking forward to playing together when we return to Oxford for the next academic year, and we hope that the Oxford team will be victorious in the Portland Bowl 2008!

 I have just graduated from Oxford, where I read Classics, and will be returning as a graduate student in October to read for a Master of Studies in Latin Literature and Roman Art.
