Nicola Macdougall

I'm at Durham University, going into my final year in October, studying History.

I started playing bridge at the age of 8, but gave up for a while, so only properly took it up at 12.  I'm now 20 (birthday: 23.05.87).

I've played for England Under 20s in the Peggy Bayer, and a friendly against Scotland.  I also play for the Durham 'A' team, winning the final of the Portland Bowl last year and runners up this year.
Winning the PB last year meant we got to go to China to play in the University World Championships in October 2006.  The team came 17th out of 27 teams.

I played in Under 25s last year, with Paul Edkins, coming a narrow 2nd. A while ago now I played in the under 19s teams for the South and won.

Other things I am interested in include: waterskiing (I'm an instructor), any sort of sport - I play football at Durham for my college.

My sister, Laura and I play at the London Christmas and Easter congresses pretty much every year, as well as Brighton (despite both missing out this year).
