Stuart Haring
2007 Junior Team

Stuart HaringMy mum was always a keen bridge player and taught me to play when I was just nine years old. I took it more seriously when I started playing in school competitions, which is where I started partnering Simon in 1997. After playing in some England schools events, we continued to partner each other after leaving school.

I studied mathematics at Cambridge, while Simon was at another university. At university, I continued to play with various partners, winning the Portland Bowl and playing in the World Universities Championships in Turkey in 2004. Meanwhile, Simon and I were still involved in the England juniors. We were selected for the first time for the juniors in 2005 and have played in several events since then, including the junior White House Internationals twice.

I graduated in 2005 and started running a business. Currently, I am a mathematics teacher and hope to introduce bridge to my students too.
