The Venice Cup was first established in 1974 – this is the 16th competition. The team will be competing against twenty one other national teams. The England women’s team won the bronze medal in the prestigious European Women’s Team Championships, held in Warsaw in 2006, meaning they automatically qualified for the World Bridge Championships.
