The first two, at Wolverhamption and Bristol were fantastic - Wolverhampton had 65 people and I was in Bristol with 58 people on Monday. Ron had them eating out of the palm of his hand.One lady told John Pain how she thought it was 'going to be too straight foward but how wrong she was'. Another enjoyed it so much she has booked up for another one on Friday. He is in Bartestree, Hereford today and has another 64 folk.

One of his anecdotes was to do with overcalling. He said 'If you make rubbish overcalls partner will make a rubbish lead. Partner will make enough rubbish leads without you helping him so make sure your overcalls are of good quality'. Great advice from a great player.
