The English Open Team is on its way to the Bermuda Bowl !

It will be the first time the English Open team have ever been represented in this, arguably the most prestigious of the World Championships!

In the final match,they beat San Marino 25-3 while the Netherlands, who had started the day in 5th position overall, failed to beat Finland by a large enough margin to qualify, giving England the chance the needed to overtake.

The English Women's team sadly failed to qualify for the Venice Cup, and the Senior's team finished bottom of their A-Final so they will not be going to compete in the Seniors Bowl in Estoril

The dates and venue for the 2005 World and 2006 World and European Championships have been announced

2005 World Championships (the Bermuda Bowl & Venice Cup) will be in Estoril, Portugal, from 22 October - 5 November 2005

2005 European Open Championships (Pairs and Teams events) will be in Arona on Tenerife from 18 June - 02 July 2005

2006 World Championships (the Rosenblum, McConnell and all the World Pairs and Teams events) will be in Verona, Italy, from 10 - 24 June 2006)

2006 European Team Championships will be in Warsaw, Poland from 12 - 26 August 2006
