The Neuberg Formula - the Formula itself

The actual formula is as follows: -

Match Points = ((M x E) + (E - A) )
A

Where

M is the match points considering the scores in isolation (14, 11, 6, 2, 0) in the previous example.
E is the expected number of scores (16)
A is the actual number of scores (8)

So, the + 490 above scores (14 x 16) + (16 - 8) = 29
