Scenario

West opens 1NT, North overcalls 2 and East bids 2. South bids 3 and then says 'Sorry, I should have alerted the 2 bid. It's spades and another.'

The TD is called to the table. When he gives his ruling, East wants to change his bid to 2NT. South now passes and West bids 3 which is the final contract. North's opening lead is a small diamond.

At the end of the hand, East/West feel damaged by North's choice of the diamond lead and recall the TD.
