Declarer is in 4sand has won eight tricks, the last in his hand. We have the following 3-card ending.

    Declarer

The cA Q have not yet been played and there are still 5 clubs remaining in the defenders hand. Declarer leads a low club towards dummy; west plays c8. Declarer now starts to think, shrugs his shoulders and says ‘I don’t know, play one’. The defenders call the TD and want him to play the c6. How do you rule?
