North asks, ‘Having NONE, partner?’ at this stage, and South turns out to have one club — 3 in his hand. Call the TD.

(overruff)

North asks, ‘Having NONE, partner?’ at this stage, and South turns out to have one club — Q in his hand. Call the TD.

Scenario 3

West (Dummy)

North

East

South
4 5 7
(ruff)		 8
(overruff)

North asks ‘Having NONE, partner?’ at this stage, and South now plays the 3 and later wins a trick with the Q in his hand.
