The EBU is pleased to announce a series of one day regional seminars for club and county TDs and anyone interested in the laws of the game.

9 courses have now been held around the country. The remaining course is at Wantage on November 29th. See below for details.

Each seminar will be led by an experienced EBU Tournament Director and will cover various aspects of the revised code of laws which comes into effect in England on August 1st 2008. Seminars will be held to allow members a chance to work with the new laws for a month or so and bring live problems rather than just use simulated situations.

Each course costs £10 which includes all course material and tea/coffee refreshments during the day. The price does NOT include a law book.

Lunch is NOT provided. Courses will run from 10.30am until about 4.30pm.

Topics will include:

• The revised revoke laws (Laws 61 to 64)
• The revised insufficient bid law (Law 27)
• Awarding weighted adjusted scores (Law 12C1(c))
• The Regulating Authority and the Tournament Organizer (Laws 80/81)
• References to Lead Penalties (Law 26)
• Reference to Law 23
• Changes to Laws 13 – 16
• References to other minor changes in several laws

Courses are being planned as follows:
