David Bakhshi wins US title

Congratulations to David Bakhshi who, together with his American partner Billy Cohen, has won the Silodor Open Pairs at the US Spring Nationals in St Louis. David is the first Brit to win a major US pairs title since Tony Forrester won the same event in 1998. The ACBL bulletin has a photo of David and tells the story of how the partnership formed on the morning of the event!

England win Camrose Trophy

England extended their lead in the second half of the home international series in Ireland and finished 11.5VPs ahead of the home team. They kept things exciting by losing the penultimate match 22-8, but ended with a resounding 25-0 win over the CBAI team.

Congratulations to all the team: David Gold, Tony Forrester, Andrew Robson, Alexander Allfrey, Tom Townsend and David Bakhshi, with NPC Simon Cope, and of course the team from the first weekend back in January.
