Some clubs and counties would like to expand the amount of coverage they receive in the local press, but are uncertain how to go about doing it. We have a document as part of the Club Management Handbook which gives some suggestions as to the approach you might take, and some of the things to consider.

There are no hard and fast rules. Some papers may be extremely receptive – others may be harder to crack. Whatever works is a good method – there is no ‘right’ way. Hopefully the suggestions will help, but the biggest thing to remember is that you won’t get anything printed if you don’t submit anything.
