It is not too late for young players to enter to take part in the Junior Teach-In.
Please encourage your young members to head to Loughborough – or pass on the information to your ‘adult’ members who may know a youngster who would (or could, or should) like to learn, or who already plays.
The Junior ‘Teach-In’ is a great opportunity for young people to learn the game, or develop their skills. Whether they are a complete beginner or a junior expert, all levels of player are welcome to come and give bridge a go! There are bridge competitions and lessons, along with fun non-bridge activities and social events.
The event is organised by English Bridge Education and Development, and takes place over a whole weekend at Loughborough University.
It takes place 1st – 3rd September. The cost is £160 per student, to include all meals, two nights’ en-suite accommodation, and all the bridge tuition and play. Accompanying adults are welcome at £175 per person. 'Non-residential' participants (both youngsters and adults) are welcome at a cost of £50 each.
