Club Management Focus: Autumn 2017

Searching past issues of Club Management Focus

In most instances the search function on the homepage of our website will point you to the information you are looking for, but that is not always the case. There are certain parts of the website – like Club Management Focus - which are hosted differently, so don’t come up via that search facility, and it also can’t look through pdfs.

So if you want to find an old CMF article, or a document which you think has been added as a pdf, you may need to do a more thorough search than just the streamlined version accessed via the homepage. Here’s what to do…

Searching Club Management Focus

Go to Google, and put in this search term:

site:http://www.ebu.co.uk/newsletters/ “what you want to search for”

You should replace the bit in quotations with your search term, but leave the quotation marks.

Please note - the articles are correct at the time of the production of the CMF in question, but some of the detail may have been updated since – we do not go back and update old newsletters. So, if you need to do so, please cross-reference the article with documents on the main website, or contact us for clarification.

Searching all content on the website

For the most thorough search possible you can also search all the content on the EBU website, including pdf documents, by using this search term in Google:

site:http://www.ebu.co.uk/ “what you want to search for”

Again, replace the bit in quotations with your search term, but leave the quotation marks.

In some instances you may get a lot of hits, so adding a year – e.g. site:http://www.ebu.co.uk/ “what you want to search for”2017 – may help to narrow your search to documents and pages updated/uploaded this year. If you can’t find anything for 2017 then we maybe changed it last year, so search for 2016, etc.

Please note – there may be instances where it has been necessary to retain older versions of certain webpages or documentation, so please ensure you are looking at the most up-to-date version. Using the date parameter mentioned above may assist with this – or alternatively get in touch with us and we can confirm whether you have the most up to date information.
