Welcome to the Winter edition of Club Management Focus 2019.
I have recently taken over from Peter Stockdale as Communications Officer of the EBU. My name is Sam; I have recently moved from Chester to Aylesbury. Although I am currently not a bridge player, I have grown up listening to my mum talk about playing and more recently teaching bridge, so maybe I will learn in future.
This issue is packed full of useful information for club managers and committees, in particular we have two articles about success stories from Bewdley and Folkestone Bridge Clubs talking about the regeneration of membership. I hope you will find some useful information in it. Please let us know if there are topics you would like us to cover in future editions.
