We are excited to announce a new knockout teams event played online. Our intention is that this will pave the way in the future to us offering teams the option to play matches online in our existing knockout teams events.
The new event is open to teams consisting of four to six players, all of whom are EBU members. There will be no entry fee and no prize money, but modest Blue Points will be awarded to winning teams.
It will be played as knockout throughout, on Bridge Base Online. Matches prior to the semi-finals will be of 24 boards, the semi-finals and the final being 32 boards.
