The Oxford Midweek Congress was held 27th to 29th May.
The Championship Pairs event was won by Martin Taylor & Justin Hackett, just 0.17% ahead of John Holland & Pat Davies. Warner Solomon & Taf Anthias were third. The B stratification was won by Lloyd Sarsby & Gitte Sarsby, with Susan Dunnett & Andy Baruch winning the C stratification.
Those who performed well in the Pairs continued their run of form in the Swiss Teams event. Warner Solomon, Taf Anthias, John Holland and Pat Davies (pictured, with John absent) joined forces to take the top prize, finishing 8 VPs clear. Paul Littlewood, Fiona Littlewood, Derek Oram and Celia Oram were second, and Justin Hackett was joined by Paul Hackett, Roger O'Shea, and Jason Hackett to finish third.
The B stratification of the teams was won by the team of Pat Johnson, Peter Scotting, Geoff Wootton and Tony Verran. The C stratification was won by Michael Green, Chris Shambrook, Gordon Maxwell and Ilan Sirkis. Their pictures are available below.
