Gladys Gittins

Gladys Gittins has been teaching bridge in Cambridge for many years having started in 1984 when I offered to help the ladies playing rubber bridge at the Golf Club to improve their game. Then I taught in Community Education for many years and several of my groups started their own duplicate bridge clubs.

Now I teach both beginners and improvers at home in a warm relaxed atmosphere, there are no long lectures just a short talk and then some prepared hands to consolidate what has been taught. My aim is for my students to enjoy playing bridge and many new friendships start here around the bridge table.

In 2001 I organised a New Players Tournament for my ex students and others and this is still popular under the new name of Novice Pairs Tournament.
