The Annual General Meeting of the English Bridge Union took place yesterday (Wednesday November 26th) in London.
The election results were announced as follows:-

Two candidates were nominated and agreed to stand. As such, there was no need for an election for the eight positions available.

Two nominations were received for the two vacancies therefore no election was required, serving a three year term of office expiring in 2017.

Four nominations were received for the four vacancies. Although there was no requirement for an election, a vote was required to ascertain the term of office for each nominee. The top three for a three year term of office expiring in 2017, and the fourth for a two year term of office expiring in 2016.
