Byrne & Dyke win Swiss Pairs at Brighton

Michael Byrne (Manchester) and Kieran Dyke (London) have won the Harold Poster Cup for the Swiss Pairs at the Summer Meeting. They finished level on 197 VPs with David Arundel (Middlesex) & Andrew Bannock (London), but Michael and Kieran took the title having won 11 matches and drawn two, compared with David and Andrew's 11 wins. Jeremy Dhondy and Andy Hughes (Hants & IOW) were third on 195 VPs.

The Brighton Plate, for the leading 'C' stratification pair, was won by juniors Olivia Bailey (Scotland) and Nick Dean (London) who finished tied 47th out of the 287 pairs in the event.
