The Board of the EBU have decided to create a Small Grants Fund for grants to EBU affiliated Clubs or Counties, and have delegated the operation and grant making decisions to the General Manager.
The idea is that we will consider proposals for such expenditure as a dealing machine or electronic scoring devices. Any approved grants would be based upon a “matched funding” basis only.
Clubs will be required to provide details and accounts to support their application. The idea is to offer grants to those clubs or counties that would otherwise have difficulty in affording an item.
Supported applications should be made, by email, to the General Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that there is only a limited amount in the fund and when it is gone it is gone; continuing affiliation by clubs will be a specific requirement along with a potential for other conditions which may vary for each applicant.
Update: Due to an overwhelming response, applications are suspended at present.
