It has been reported that Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes, one of the pairs accused in the 'cheating scandals' last year, have been banned by the Italian Bridge Federation (FIGB) following its investigation. Reports state that the pair were found guilty and have received a lifetime ban from the FIGB from playing as a pair, and individual three year bans. The EBL will consider the matter further at an EBL Disciplinary Commission hearing at the end of May.
