David Bakhshi and David Gold, playing with Americans Richard Schwartz and Daniel Korbel, and Norwegians Boye Brogeland and Espen Lindqvist, have finished as runners-up in the Vanderbilt teams, one of the most prestigious competitions on the American bridge calendar. They were defeated by the Nickell team, the members of which have all won the competition between four and seven times.
