I was fortunate enough to learn Bridge at school and grew up playing with and learning from some great players. One of my earliest memories is going to the Easter Guardian tournament whilst still at school and playing against Rixi Markus with half a dozen kibitzers at the table. As well as being petrified it was also thrilling to be able to play against some of the top players in the world.
I am married to Sally, who I met through bridge, and we live in Devon together with our four children - Sam, Theo, Venetia and Maria. We have always played cards at home and started teaching them Bridge three years ago. We now have no shortage of partners or teammates and often decide on the way to the club which line up to play. Outside Bridge I am an accountant and enjoy cricket, reading and gardening.
