The Portland Bowl is the inter-university knock-out competition which runs through the academic year. The semi-final and final are hosted by the Portland Club in London each April.
It is open to all British higher-learning institutions, and in the early rounds matches may be played online to help more remote universities take part.
Entries for 2017/18 will need to be submitted by end October 2017. The 2016/17 winners were Cambridge University.

Young Bridge Challenge - including the School's Cup
Organised by English Bridge Education and Development, this is a one-day bridge event for school-age players of all experience levels. It is free to enter and consisting numerous competitions including the Schools Cup. More information is available on the EBED website.
The 2017 Schools Cup was won by Westminster School.
The 2018 Young Bridge Challenge will take place on 10th March at Loughborough Grammar School.
Under-21 Championship Pairs
The Under-21 Championship Pairs event will be held as part of the 2018 London Easter Congress.
Congratulations to the 2017 winners, Sam & Theo Anoyrkatis.
Until 2015 this was the Under-19 Championships - this was changed to bring it in line with the international age categories.
Under-26 Championship Pairs
The 2017 Under-26 Pairs was held as part of the Summer Meeting in Eastbourne.

Junior Teach In
The Junior Teach-In is a residential bridge event, including tuition, competitions, and other sporting and social activities. It is run by English Bridge Education and Development.
The 2017 event was held on 1st-3rd September 2017 in Loughborough.
