This person has no biography at present. If it's you, why not send one to us?
I was born in Aylesbury and have lived here all of my life in various parts of the town. I have 2 grown up daughters and a grandson and my partner has a son. I live with my partner Andy and our 2 cats.
Together we enjoy spending time with the family, gardening, eating out and holidaying abroad. I also like shopping.
I do not play bridge (scrabble is more my thing) but have certainly learnt a lot about it since joining the EBU as receptionist/admin assistant for EBU membership.
Phil was an Oxford graduate and professional bridge player in the 1950’s, winning the Gold Cup (1955) and Tollecmache (twice), followed by several Camrose appearances.
Following the death of his wife, he and his then six-year-old son moved to Stafford, where he became a respected and popular A Level Maths teacher.
He continued to play following the move where further success followed with a Crockford’s Cup in 1984. He regularly represented Staffs, including his third (and the county’s only) Tollecmache victory.
