2022 European Team Championships | English Bridge Union

The 55th European Team Championships, which started on 12th June in Madeira, Portugal, finished yesterday 22nd June.

England had representation from four teams in the competition: Open (picture), Women's, Mixed (picture) and Seniors (picture), full details of each team are listed below.

The top eight teams in each category will qualify for entry into the World Championships in 2023. Unfortunately none of the England teams finished in a qualifying position, however they all gave creditable performances. The final positions of the England teams:

Of the home nations teams, the only team to qualify was the Irish Open team, so congratulations to them and good luck for the World Championships.
