The 3rd European Online Women’s Teams Championship, organised by the European Bridge League and run on RealBridge took place over the weekend (9–11 January).
There were three teams with English players:
Team Renate, with players from Austria, England and France (Renate Adelsberger, Heather Dhondy, Jill Pattison, Anne Rosen, Jovanka Smederevac & Hanna Tuus).
Team Ruff Diamonds, with players from England (Valerie Constable, Patricia Emery, Lesley Harrison, Sophie Jaques, Jo Jarrold, Sally Pendry, Alison Pritchard & Judith Sanis).
Team Vicuna, with players from England, Poland, Spain and Sweden (Fiona Brown, Maria Eugenia Hernandez, Danuta Kazmucha, Almudena Martorell, Marion Michielsen, Maria Sainz De Vicuna).
The Renate team finished first in the B final with 103.5 IMPS and the Vicuna team finished first in the C final with 114.41 IMPS.
