The 47th World Teams Championships is underway in Herning, Denmark.
There are four main events taking place, the Bermuda Bowl (Open Teams), Venice Cup (Women's Teams), D'Orsi Trophy (Seniors Teams) and Wuhan Cup (Mixed Teams). England have qualified for all four categories. Full details of each team are listed below.
All 4 categories start with a round robin of 23 rounds. The teams need to finish in the top 8 places after the round robin stage in order to progress to the Quarter Final stage.
UPDATE (27/08): The Open Team and the Seniors Team both played the respective USA1 teams in the Quarter Finals. After 8 rounds, the USA1 team for both events progressed to the Semi-Finals.

UPDATE (29/08): In the World Transnational Teams, Team Black (Andrew Black, Peter Bertheau, Simon Hult, Andrew McIntosh, Tom Paske & Frederic Wrang) reached the Quarter Final stage where they played the Norweigan Open team, in a very close match Team Black lost by a single IMP.
UPDATE (31/08): EBU member Matt Brown (who represents New Zealand) was part of Team Shourie who won the silver medal in the World Transnational Teams, congratulations to him! In the Board-a-Match Teams A final EBU members Rune Hauge (of Norway), Daniel McIntosh, Erik Sælensminde (of Norway) and Jan Petter Svendsen (of Norway) won the silver medal, congratulations to them!
